Split over two levels, the aquarium was well worth a visit. Lots to see and good for children. Upper level hosts an underground zoo with owls, parrots and a sloth. Be prepared to show your ticket frequently.
Really enjoyed this attraction. The tanks all look great and some are massive.
The fish are in very good condition and there are a great variety of fish.
When we went (Oct 2023) it wasn't very busy and it was easy to get to the tanks to see the fish.
We also didn't think this was too expensive.
All in all a good way to spend an hour or so.

One of the great aquarium with proper maintenance. Only issue in underwater aquarium is low light which was very low and dark environment. The planted tanks and other aquariums were good. One must see this.
Fabulous place to be. You are under the water and creatures are abovevyou. A whole different experience. You get to see different types of sharks, sting rays, other many varieties of fishes. Apart from this other animals as well. Overall an incredible experience.
It was an amazing experience to visit Dubai aquarium and underwater zoo located in Dubai Mall. They have huge number of species of fishes & the most amazing part was the boat tour given by the guide along with the fish feeding activity at the aquarium.
One must also try to spend time at the penguin section as it's quite interesting and the way they have put tags to identify them.

Smaller than we thought but it is amazing how many different kinds of fish they have had. We had purchased the simple ticket, ehich was quite expensive also, but at least people tried a lot to make the walk interesting. Interactive tablets with info, a guide for the penguins attraction. Very good. Just take your time at the fish tank and you will feel like it is worth it.
