Wow! Visiting New York for the first time I had to go visit Times Square at night.... and I wasn't disappointed. Bright, colourful, busy, full of life, loved it!
The tourist magnet of New York City! Lots of fun to visit, visually stunning with all the digital advertising on the buildings. Lots of shopping and some chain restaurants as well as food carts. Lots of good smells and happy people looking around in wonder. I fully enjoyed myself.
I grew up here, and still, I love the lights and everything about NYC. Nowadays, it seems like more people are out, then what pictures from back in the early 90s and 2000s show. Crowds of people are out and about in Times Square, and still love it.
Obviously its best and all but you have to be energized and active to be here. It’s not like you can just go and sit which is highly impossible. Its packed all the time, as everyone says - NEW YORK NEVER SLEEPS - it doesn’t guys. Plan it better, go for Joe’s pizza and Adele’s halal as soon as you reach there. People say its not but it is totally worth the two hr waiting time for Adele Halal. Also the Artichoke’s crab pizza dude I loved it.
I actually enjoyed Time Square! The amount of people walking around there reminded me of Seoul S Korea. I couldn't believe all the different performers that were around there doing their acts. Some were very good, some were gross and not worth seeing or hearing. What surprised me the most is how actually polite most people were as crowded as it was. After being there, I can see why people like going there!!!
